This is a lovely vintage two piece suit from the late 1930s or 1940s. This suit is clean and in very good condition. Although the lining is as clean as can be, the satin fabric does have some discoloration to it.
I believe the fabric on this suit is burlap. The color is a soft beige and the feel of the fabric is a little like denim. The jacket has three soft white buttons that almost look like abalone. The jacket has a large raccoon fur collar that goes down the front and back of only one side of the jacket. The vintage raccoon fur is in good condition. The more coarse and earthy raccoon fur compliments the 1940s suit perfectly, giving the whole suit a very organic vibe. The skirt zips and hooks on the side and has a cute kick pleat. The zipper zips just a tad hard, but it does zip i believe a size small would wear this suit best. The waist on the skirt is 26 inches and the hips are 37 inches and the length is 24 inches. The bust on the jacket is 37 inches and the waist is 32 inches and the length is 24 inches.
