Gorgeous and sophisticated late 1940s/early 1950s skirt suit in a stone blue or aquamarine color (hard to describe) with a very subtle blue windowpane. Lovely period details including fantastic double rim covered buttons and matching covered buckle belt.
Interesting tuck accent along the hip. Lovely collar and high stance. Straight skirt with a side zipper and snap and a center back half pleat vent.Jacket is fully lined but skirt is unlined. No label except on the back of the belt.
Wash or clean as garment. There are a few stains right of center toward the hem, almost looks faded or bleached. A few stains and some discoloration to the lining.
The snap at the waistband of the skirt could use a few reinforcement stitches. Dry cleaned and ready to wear. Length of belt: 32 1/2. Length center back: 30 1/2. Dress form measurements for reference.
